This album is still the same Siouxsie and the Banshees but this came out in so naturally the band had matured by then and wanted to start experimenting in different directions. Don't get me wrong though, this album is very off-beat and has the same quirkiness that the band incorporates on all their albums and the songs are top notch/5(55).

Songs shine through overproduction The Banshees album Superstition has often been accused as their most mellow, slick release to date. That may be but it also allows the band the full opportunity to revel in their strengths: a wonderful sense of melody, densely layered instrumentation and a dark heart at the core of the songs.
