Apocalyptica, however, remains best at tracks where nobody does guest vocals to harm and ruin the flow of their instrumental prowess. An absolute highlight is opener Worlds Collide, with cello riffs that are more distorted and heavier than electric guitar chugging, and as a bonus it features perfect melodic melody lines throughout.

Apocalyptica worked with renowned producer and engineer Andrew Scheps, who has worked with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey, Metallica and Black Sabbath among others. He mixed the album at Monnow Valley Studios in South Wales, UK, and the band couldn’t be happier with the results.

Apr 15,  · New album, great album So I was psyched to be at the concert for this in LA. Truly an awesome group, and awe-inspiring when they play live. If you have the chance, I highly recomend. After that side note, here's the review; world's collide contains only works written by apocalyptica (and Gontier) for apocalyptica; no covers. And frankly, I'm glad.

Meh, “Worlds Collide” is worth listening after all, but better not spend too much money on this piece, friends. Nevertheless, a decent album ruined by the poor vocals. Best Moments of the CD: the beginning of Grace.-the explosion of Last Hope, when the main riff is played by the first time.
