Most every manufacturer in the (audiophile) industry believes that the sound of their product changes (improves) after a break-in process, and most address this their manuals. I honestly do not know if any of them have measurements that document break-in, though I doubt it, and it certainly doesn't make sense to fund such research.

Dec 01,  · The multiple, high power, isolated channels on the Zuma are key as they kill most problems before they have a chance to sneak into your configuration. As mentioned elsewhere, things like Wah pedals and such demand additional attention but I’m confident as I add pedals down the road the Zuma will power and protect the pedal chain.

Shared Power Outlet. Always connect your devices to the same power outlet (e.g. with a multi-outlet power strip). Note that even if the power supply of your laptop computer is not connected, your setup may still be vulnerable to ground noise from an external device with its own power supply.

Apr 01,  · I have a question. The sound team in my church requires us to switch off the breakers that are connected to the speakers to power down our sound equipment. Also, in order to power up our sound equipment we have to switch on the breakers. I still get a loud pop when I do this and I am not sure if this is damaging to our speakers.

Cables are another component that many believe have an effect on the sound. It is the most contentious area of thought around component sound quality. Let’s assume that they do affect the sound and that they break-in, burn-in, like other components. They all have a .
