Jul 01,  · In this video we will cover how to play Death Letter Blues by The White Stripes - which is originally by Son House - on guitar. I am using my dobro, but obviously you can use any other guitar.

My two favorite songs on this album are "Death Letter Blues" and "Preachin' Blues"--both feature relatively clear diction and relatively clean sound. The former song explores grief and the latter the humorous side of religion. The stories are expressed powerfully and the slide guitar playing is expert. I didn't care for the two a cappella numbers/5(16).
