   Apr 03,  · There isn't a comp for his MGM output but I recommend the Edsel two-fer of There's Only One Roy Orbison and The Orbison Way. His last finished album, "Mystery Girl" is also essential. The song "She's a Mystery To Me" ranks up there with the likes of "Running Scared", "In Dreams, and "Crying" IMHO. Plus the rest of the album is great as well.

   There is nobody with a voice as beautiful as Roy Orbison's and The Orbison Way is probably my favorite album of all time. His voice is better than I have ever heard it on all of his many big hits.    There is Only One Roy Orbison had Ride Away, Claudette, and many other great songs that, for the most part, went unheard and were ignored by the "Top 40" stations of the era. That is a shame; seeing this album re-released as a "stand-alone" album is exciting and hopefully Roy's millions of fans who may have missed this one the first time around /5(27).
