    In she released first solo album Broken Girl - Broken Girl compiling her previous two 7" singles recorded under her alias Broken Girl and new material. A year later she signed with Sub Pop and started releasing under her maiden name. Since late she also performs with Shotgun & Jaybird, who in turn support her during her solo tours.

    At 18 Julie Doiron was playing bass in Canadian Sub Pop-signed outfit Eric’s Trip, and between 19the group were darlings of their homeland’s indie scene. Thereafter, Doiron set forth on a solo career that has seen her record six albums prior to this one. This latest album sees Doiron reuniting with her Eric’s Trip bandmate, Rick White who produces and plays on the entire.
